Heatwave

July 2006 has been the warmest month ever in the Netherlands - a full degree higher than the previous record. This is why I agreed to move before (or rather, instead of) taking a holiday. Having a garden makes a world of difference when it's 35 degrees outside. It's not a huge garden, about 70 square metres, but enough for a picnic table and a blow up pool for us & the kids. (Ayla's also got a smaller version now for when she's wanting a quick splash.)
